Minerals are different... but all are the same everywhere. Silver is the same in all places (Europe, America, Asia...)
Rocks are made of minerals but they change from one place to another. Some rocks are different, in differente places:
- Marbles: white, green, brown...
- Granite: pink, grey...
- Slates: grey, black, green...
- Sandstones: red, brown...
MINERALS have different properties: colour, hardness, luster, crystal form, density... We use these to classify them.To scratch minerals we use: nails, cooper, glass and steel.
